Ana amfani da bawul ɗin duba faranti biyu na API 594 don bututun mai tsabta da kuma bututun masana'antu, kariyar muhalli, maganin ruwa, samar da ruwa da magudanar ruwa a cikin manyan gine-gine don hana kwararar kafofin watsa labarai. API 594 ya bayyana ƙimar zafin jiki na matsin lamba (PT) sosai don bawuloli masu duba bisa ga kayan aiki, ƙira, da girma. - API 598: Dubawa da Gwaji na Bawul (yana rufe gwaje-gwajen harsashi, gwaje-gwajen kujera, gwaje-gwajen kujera ta baya, da sauransu).
- ASME B16.10: Girman bawuloli Fuska da Fuska da Ƙarshe.
Manyan gwaje-gwaje sun haɗa da: - Gwajin Ƙarfin Shell: Yana tabbatar da ingancin jiki mai ɗauke da matsi da kuma bonnet.
